A World Above the Clouds
There are places that look beautiful, and then there are places that make you feel small. Seceda is the latter.
When people think of eloping in Italy, they often imagine a quick ceremony followed by a few portraits. But Seceda demands more than an hour of your time. It offers a rhythm of life that is slower, quieter, and infinitely more profound. This is not just a backdrop; it is a sanctuary for those seeking solitude.
The Ascent: Leaving the World Behind

The experience begins in the charming town of Ortisei, but the real magic happens when you step onto the cable car. As you ascend 2,500 meters (over 8,000 feet), you watch the noise of the valley fade away. The air gets crisper, the trees thin out, and suddenly, you are deposited into an alpine meadow that feels like the roof of the world.
The hike along the ridge is accessible yet dramatic. On one side, gentle green slopes roll down like a carpet; on the other, the earth drops away into sheer vertical cliffs. Walking this edge together feels like walking on the spine of the earth.
More Than a "Photo Op": The Rifugio Experience

The true luxury of a Dolomites elopement is time. Instead of rushing back down to the valley, we recommend staying in one of the high-altitude mountain huts (Rifugios) scattered across the peaks.
Imagine this: The day-hikers leave with the last cable car, and suddenly, you have the entire mountain to yourselves. You enjoy a dinner of local dumplings and wine in a warm timber lodge, then step outside to see a sky dense with stars, unobstructed by city lights.
Waking up here means you don't have to hike in the dark for sunrise—you simply open the door, and the light is already painting the jagged peaks in shades of violet and gold.
Finding Silence

In a world that is constantly loud, Seceda offers a rare commodity: Peace. The wind moving through the grass and the distant sound of cowbells are often the only soundtrack to your vows.
This location is for the couple who wants their wedding day to feel like a deep exhale. It is for those who are willing to trade the "perfect" wedding timeline for the unpredictable, breathtaking beauty of the mountains.
Summer 2026 Availability
